Learnlight has been shortlisted for the 2020 Learning Technologies Awards in two categories for its partnership with global powerhouse Siemens. The winners will be announced on November 18th. Learnlight and Siemens have been nominated for “Best Use of Blended Learning” as well as “Best Learning Technologies Project” within the international commercial project sector.
Winning this year’s nominations would mean for Learnlight to be recognized by Learning Technologies prestigious awards for two consecutive years. In 2019, Learnlight and client Deutsche Telekom took home gold in the category “Blended Learning Solutions”. The double shortlisting falls in line with Learnlight’s long standing award history – the global EdTech leader previously won the Chief Learning Officer Award with pharma giant Novartis, the Learning in Practice awards and many more.
Learnlight’s successful partnership with Siemens dates back 13 years, with active learners in 27 countries for language as well as intercultural skills training. Learnlight has been instrumental for Siemens to digitally transform their face-to-face training and provide a one-stop learning solution for their teams around the world. Long before COVID-19 challenged the status quo of work environments, Learnlight has been successfully assisting large companies all around the world with migrating face-to-face training to virtual, instructor-led training.
The Learning Technologies Awards 2020 received 500 entries across 26 categories. An independent 61-strong, judging panel of experts in the field selected the 214 finalists. All nominees must make another presentation to the judging panel in September and October from which the winners will be chosen.
Benjamin Joseph, CEO at Learnlight, on the double shortlisting and continuously strong partnership with Siemens: “We are thrilled to be nominated together with Siemens for these prestigious Edtech awards. Our relationship with Siemens, which spans 13 years, is a perfect example of the long–term win-win partnerships we seek to build with our clients. During the challenges of 2020, we have been able to prove to our partners that we are ideally positioned to accompany them on a journey of digital transformation so in this “new normal” they can seamlessly provide continuous learning.”
