When the COVID-19 pandemic unfolded, it encouraged Learnlight to use its expertise to provide additional support to both clients and learners. Learnlight immediately set a few initiatives in place.

The first step was for Learnlight to offer Digital Live, an interactive and online self-study program, for free to existing clients for the duration of the pandemic. This initiative was well-received and adopted by more than 110 companies so far, resulting in over 13,000 employees receiving continuous online training during the quarantine from March to date.

Learnlight as pioneers in virtual learning was also able to migrate 600 clients from face-to-face training to virtual training across more than 40 countries, retaining 75% of trainers and providing 14,600+ hours of training.

Thanks to more than a decade of experience in digital transformation and a pool of talented trainers, Learnlight was in the position to share knowledge to help businesses that had to shift to remote working suddenly. A 7-part free global webinar series was launched on 17th March and covered the following topics:

  1. Prepare Your Employees for Working from Home
  2. Effective Communication in a Crisis
  3. Managing Change in Times of Uncertainty
  4. Managing Stress in Ever-Changing Environments
  5. Building Creative and Critical Thinking When Working Remotely
  6. Building Resilient Teams in a Virtual Space
  7. Creating Structure in New Working Environments

Learnlight highlights that human connection is important now, more than ever and as their innovative and award-winning platform effortlessly supports HR, L&D and Talent Managers in providing learners with their training, they have the opportunity to stay engaged and receive continuous learning. Benjamin Joseph, CEO of Learnlight, says:

As we offer blended learning solutions it made sense to give them the opportunity to a) trial our Digital Live solution for free and b) migrate to virtual programs, to ensure that their employees continue to learn whenever and wherever they are”.

“When we first heard the news about the pandemic, we felt compelled to support our clients. Some had only just enrolled with some of our programs, and others were making great progress with our Face-to-Face solutions. As we offer blended learning solutions it made sense to give them the opportunity to a) trial our Digital Live solution for free and b) migrate to virtual programs, to ensure that their employees continue to learn whenever and wherever they are”.

As a business, Learnlight throughout the years has adapted its business-model, structure, and teams several times as a result of successful acquisitions. Learnlight guides companies through the journey of digital transformation and have been successfully implementing and scaling this for years.
